What is the RITSIC procedure?
The Register of Industrial Safety Installations of Catalonia (RITSIC) is an administrative register whose main objective is to compile and keep up-to-date information on industrial installations in Catalonia related to industrial safety.
This register is managed by the Directorate General for Industry of the Generalitat de Catalunya and is compulsory for those companies that carry out industrial activities that are subject to the industrial safety regulations in force in the autonomous community of Catalonia.
The facilities that must be registered in this system are those that may present risks to the health and safety of workers, citizens or the environment. Some examples of these facilities are factories, waste treatment plants, chemical product warehouses, power plants, among others.
What is the RAC procedure?
The Self-consumption Register in Catalonia is a registration system implemented in the autonomous community of Catalonia, in Spain, for those consumers who wish to generate their own energy through self-consumption installations.
Self-consumption is understood as the production of electricity for own consumption from renewable sources, such as photovoltaic solar energy. In order to regulate and control these installations, the Generalitat de Catalunya established a regulatory framework that requires the registration of all self-consumption installations in a specific register.
Thus, registration is mandatory for all self-consumption installations in Catalonia, regardless of their size or generation capacity. In addition, the register allows local authorities to monitor and control energy generation and consumption in the region, as well as to facilitate access to incentives and benefits associated with self-consumption.
It is important to note that the specific regulations and requirements for self-consumption registration in Catalonia may be subject to changes and updates, so it is advisable to consult the current legislation and competent bodies for updated and accurate information on the registration process and the corresponding requirements.
